My Experience On YouTube . . .

YouTube has been an incredible success for me in the past 2 months or so. I started on YouTube Summer 2015, when I uploaded some stop motion films that I shot on my point and shoot camera, and then used the worst editing program ever to add text and speed up the frames. I also added voice over by using a screen recorder and using a $20 headset to voice the characters while I was recording the moving pictures. They were probably the shakiest videos ever, and they were terrible quality, but at that time, I saw them as a masterpiece.

Around November 2015, I decided to delete my videos, because I realized the animations were sloppy, and it was around this time that I started playing Guitar. When I deleted the videos, I had around 40 subscribers, and I had around 10 to 20 views on each video. I kept stop motion as a hobby, but I’ve drifted away from it over time. I plan to get back into it soon, and possibly make a separate channel for them.

My channel went quiet for about 10 months, until I decided to upload Guitar tutorials around October 2016. I had tried to make tutorials before, but they were really corny, and I wasn’t fantastic at Guitar, either. Anyway, I uploaded my first tutorial on September 30, 2016, and I instantly got views, likes, and subscribers. This was a shock, because I thought no one would care if I uploaded after almost a whole year. Since then, I’ve uploaded 14 more tutorials, and all of them have gotten tremendous support.

I’m continuing to upload to YouTube, but I’ve also found a new video sharing website called Vidme. I’ve uploaded one tutorial there, and it’s gotten more views than a lot of my videos.

That’s all I have to say about my experience for now. Thanks to all of my fans for getting me this far. Here are the links to my YouTube and Vidme:
